Tony Moly BCDation SPF30 PA++ Air Light Base REVIEW!

Korean Cosmetics have been booming through the past years. It kept on rocking every single brain cells of all make up lovers all over the world not just because of it's promising effects, but also it's gentleness on all skin types.

Being a Filipina with an oily and acidic skin type, it is SUPER hard for me to find the right makeup for me. Wrong make up choice leads me to 1.) BREAKOUTS (I hate them!) 2.) Uneven Skintone (ugh! Patches of different colors everywhere!) 3.) Skin Darkening (The magic of my acidity!) and 4.) EXCESSIVE Oil Production!

That's why I prefer using only baby powder on my face to avoid those spells, except oiliness unfortunately. But since I'm already working and my field of work requires me to look fresh and prepped every single time, I have no choice but to venture out and find the right make up for me.

Since it is my skin I worry too much about, the struggle is to find the right BB cream or CC cream, or Foundation for me. But what if I tell you that I found them all in one bottle? Yes! I did! I did not know about this certain product, but I'm familiar with the brand, Tony Moly. I actually get convinced that Tony Moly is good because I once received a sample of one of its products and tried it on my face and I loved it. The sample I received was Tony Moly Luminous Glow Aura CC Cream.

After a few times of application there's still no signs of the disgusting spells. I achieved the luminous glow it promises without me looking so oily. Since I find it amazing, I hurriedly headed to the nearest Tony Moly store and looked for this one. But one of the beauty experts there asked me to try a product they say is a lot better than Aura CC Cream. I told her my skin condition and she recommended BCDation Air Light Base for me. At first I was hesitant since it costs too much and I'm uncertain of this product. I've tried Aura CC cream and it's good but this one? I'm doubtful. But then, she convinced me that this one wouldn't harm my skin because this one works as a treatment as well. So I bought it with my eyes closed and my wallet empty. 😆

After the purchase, I got too excited to try it. And... OMG! This one's a beauty! I only use one pump for every application. It's runny and thin. And it easily spreads on skin. I used a foundation brush to apply this and it sticks fast to the skin WITHOUT CAKING! It's like it's camouflaging to my skin color.

I love that it gives medium coverage because I don't like my face look soooo made up and neither look uncovered. It didn't give me breakouts. I swear! My face hadn't darkened nor reddened. And it didn't support the oil production campaign of my oil glands! LOL 😝

Price wise, it is totally WORTH IT! For Php 1,198.00, this one's a yes since this could last a year if used everyday. So after this bottle, I'd totally rebuy! 😊 👍🏽👌🏽👊🏽

The Nobu "no boo" Experience! ♥

One of the newest attraction at the Entertainment City is a resort and casino featuring an exhilarating gaming spaces, world-class dining, plush accomodation, and awesome play. City of Dreams Manila is the New Era of Entertainment. Here in City of Dreams Manila, three hotels are at your service! The Crown Towers, Hyatt Hotel, and Nobu Hotel.

Now, I'm very excited to share with you my experience in one of the hotels here, the Nobu Hotel! Yay! ♥

Nobu Hotel has 321 rooms that are trendsetting. It delivers a thrilling, celebrity-inspired and fun-luxury experience. There are four (4) suites to choose from at Nobu Hotel: 

We got an Executive Room. Let's have a tour inside!

Here's the hallway of the room. The floors are fully carpeted. I love that they chose black for the doors and the cabinet (the one on the left side, i'll show you next what's inside), it's very elegant yet playful. The door on the right is the AMAAAZING comfort room! I'll save it for later. I just love it so much! 

This is the spacious cabinet. I just lost other photos, but it also features a safe for important and valuable things, iron & ironing boards, and laundry services stuff.

Here's the King-sized bed. It's very comfy and elegant. I love the mattress and blankets, it feels so homey and very very inviting!

The sofa is very relaxing! It's against the panoramic view of the pool area which is so so SOOO glam!

This is my favorite part of the room. Isn't this so, uhm, CAN'T FIND THE RIGHT WORD! Imagine yourself sitting in this chair, enjoying a cup of tea, reading your favorite book, and just feeling the moment? ♥♥♥

Enough of that, the room features a 55" LED tv with cable. On the right side is the writing table, complete with a lamp, a landline, and pen & paper. Under the TV is the stocked mini bar and refrigerator. I loved how they saved space here!

So let's go to the AMAZING comfort room I love so much! Why am I so amazed? Well, it's really clean. And so organized. And spacious! And complete! Varies of towels are available stacked on a ladder like storage (reflected on the mirror, we already used the towels that's why they weren't there). There are also pairs of bathrobes hanging at the back of the bathroom door. Complete bathroom essentials are also available for use.

The shower area is very clean, not even a spot! It features a hot and cold bathtub and shower. A small wooden chair is also available inside, which i loved to sit on when I just want to feel the steam.

This is their toilet. It's super clean. The technology bestowed on this toilet by some genius human mind helped it keep clean all the time. It automatically opens when you get near it, which scared me! Lol I felt so old fashioned and innocent seeing this! It dries itself and heats the toilet seat to I don't know, maybe kill the germs? The only thing i hate about this is that it has no bidet, but a bidet-like something is inside the toilet which functions with the use of the remote controller on the wall. It's funny because you choose the position and pressure of the water when you need it. It just felt awkward knowing the bidet-like hose is inside the toilet. But I'm sure this one's safe, I just really felt awkward about it.

A phone is also available inside. Next to it is the remote controller for the toilet.

I know the room's not just clean but extra clean because they do housekeeping twice daily. Blankets, pillow cases, bed covers, and towels are replaced even when you haven't used them. And consumable items are replenished. Though not a spot seen, the whole room is still vacuumed.

I wouldn't let the chance to enjoy the pool area pass, so here's what Nobu Hotel's pool area have to offer.

I love the idea that of how they designed the shades to not block the outdoor feel of this area and still give enough shade on hallways.

The landscaping of this place is amazing! There are a lot of greens around! It felt so relaxing!

I guess no matter how beautiful this place is, it wouldn't matter unless you share it with your friends right? ☺

After a night here at Nobu Hotel, here's how the bed rocked me to sleep. Lol!

All in all, I would give this hotel 5/5 rating! Who wouldn't? I'd love to come back! This place is a therapy! But if you're on a budget, this is so not for you. Room rates range from Php 7,500 to Php 19,700 a night for a 1 Room/1 Night/2 Adults stay. Check this link for more details: Nobu Hotel

Review: Mustela 2-in-1 Hair and Body Wash & Mustela Hydra Bebe Body Lotion

I received sample sachets of Mustela products: Mustela 2-in-1 Hair and Body Wash and Mustela Hydra Bebe Body Lotion. Fortunately, I have a niece whom I would try it to. And I'm so excited to try it on her since we really want this product (but it's expensive) and we wouldn't want to buy something that's costly if it wouldn't justify its price.

•AVANTAGE•

Mustela 2-in-1 Hair and Body Wash is a tear-free and soap-free cleanser for both hair and body. It is specially formulated for the delicate skin of babies and children and does not sting the eyes. It contains Avocado Perseose (patented natural ingredient which strengthens the cutaneous barrier and preserves cell strength), Glycerin, and Coco Glucoside. It gently cleanses from birth on.

While Mustela Hydra Bebe Body Lotion is designed for the daily care of baby's skin. It contains Jojoba oil, Vitamin E and F, Sweet Almond Oil, and Shea Butter. It's Paraben, Phthalate and Phenoyethynol-free! Both are formulated to minimize the risk of allergic reactions.

My sister has been using mild baby wash extracted from milk to bathe my niece. It's nice. It smells good and it feels smooth on her skin. So I would love to try Mustela on her and see the difference.

So let's get started! This is my niece Adah, my third nephew (when will I have my own? Lol!).

We bathe my niece during lunch time, when the temperature's on it's average. We used to heat up the water, but since it's summer and it's hot, we just let the water sit in the heat of the sun for about 5 minutes (so it wouldn't be so cold) before bathing my niece. 

Time to bath! This 2-in-1 Hair and Body Wash is foamy even in small drops. And it smells so good! It's easy to rinse, too, which is a plus for me since we wouldn't want to let my niece bath long. 

Isn't she so relaxed with this body wash? 

After a refreshing bath, we used the Hydra Bebe Body Lotion. The scent matches with the scent of the body wash. It smells so good that we can't wait to cuddle and play with her! It's light in texture which we love since it so hot and we wouldn't want her feeling so sticky.

There's nothing to dislike about this product! 

Unless you are on tight budget. Although it's not so expensive, it still is expensive.

 But what's expensive if it's for your baby's benefit?

I'm giving this product 5/5 rating. It's the perfect care for your little cuties, I swear! This gave me an idea of what to purchase when I have my own. Yay! ❤️ My baby would be a Mustela Baby!

Review: Asian Secrets Lulur Indonesian Whitening Body Scrub

One of the products I got from my April 2015 BDJ Box is this scrub from Asian Secrets. (I already have a tub of this and it's almost empty so I was happy to have 6 pouches of this. Yay! ❤️)

Asian Secrets Lulur Indonesian Whitening Body Scrub originated from Java, Indonesia, inspired by the ritual called lulur. This product promises to beautify, whiten and smoothen skin like how it's intended for the bride-to-be. But do we really need to get married just to have more beautiful, smoother, and whiter skin? Oh, no!! Thanks to this product, bride-to-be or not, we can be at our most beautiful, (or so it says). So let's try it and see!

•AVANTAGE•

As promised on the label, here are the benefits you'd probably love:

• The beads gently exfoliate the skin.

• It helps prevent skin pigmentation.

• It helps lighten dark areas like your elbows and knees.

• It has Green Tea and Vitamin E to nourish and keep it healthy.

• It moisturizes skin and leaves it with a light fragrant scent.

•MODE D'EMPLOI•

The direction says scrub over dry skin and then rinse. I tried it before on wet skin and it just slips through my skin.

 Since I've been using this since then, I tried this on my sister who haven't used this so to show results after 7 days of use. This is how it looks upon application:

•LE POUR•

Unlike other body scrubs I tried before, this one smells so good. It gives you that royal feel. ☺

Another thing I like about it, it doesn't feel like a sandpaper scratching your delicate skin or cotton cloth you can barely feel. It's just perfect, not too harsh and not to mild. ♥

After a few scrubs my sister's skin gets a little red. But as I said, it doesn't hurt like sandpaper. This redness just shows it really scrubs off dead cells. Here's how it looked:

Excuse me if you see the beads getting a little darker. It's just it doing it's magic. Lol.

I did this to her regularly for 7 days. And after each wash, you can see results.

On the first 3 days, results aren't totally visible, but you can feel the results. Her skin starts getting smoother than it was. Also, it just smells so good!

On the fourth and fifth day, her skin gets a little lighter (I say little since it doesn't really whiten that much), and constantly smoother.

And at the end of the 7th day, tada!

•LE CONTRE•

After having tried it, there isn't much to dislike about this. Except if you really like to get really whiter, this product is not for you. It helps lighten, yes. But the lightening effect is just so mild. It's just like your dead skin cells are removed and so your natural color shows.

In my case, after having used this for long, I never really get whiter. I'm morena and I love it. It just helped me not look Morena-ala-Libag. What more to ask?

•RECOMMANDATION•

That's it! I'm giving this product 4/5. Not that it has flaws, but because of it's super light whitening effect. But if asked to buy again, DEFINITELY! I'm not really into whitening, I'm into it's smoothing effect (plus the fragrance! ♥).
