I love making my own purse using canvas fabric because aside from it's texture, you can actually paint and customize it.
This little purse is very convenient to use especially for those who wanted their bags organized. You can store up little things from pins to coins. This is a quick sew and uses very little fabric.
MATERIALS:
Fabric: Canvas, silk (floral print) and pongee (white) fabric 9x5 inch
Textile paint: Red
Zipper: 5 inch long
Pencil
Piece of paper
DIRECTIONS:

1. Align the canvas and silk cloth together with both wrong sides facing out.

6. Iron to flatten.

7. Fold it in half. Put a piece of paper (magazine) inside so the paint won't leak on the other side of the cloth.

10. Print the way you want it. Remove the paper when you're done. This is how I painted mine.

11. Sew the zippers on.

12. Turn the right side in and sew open sides. 13. When done, turn the right side out.
Voila! You're done with your very one printed canvas purse!
Now store it up with those little buddies scattered inside your bag or fill it with spare changes from bus rides!
